Hi I'm Brit Harding

I love to be active, I love my sweet wife, and I'm passionate about the future and providing for my family!

About Me

Just over a year ago a miracle happened, I was blessed to marry the girl of my dreams. Ever since that day, my life has been nothing but pure joy. I grew up in Bountiful, Utah playing basketball, skiing in the mountains, enjoying the lake and spending quality time with family and friends. With the help of their examples and hard work, I was able and ready to serve a full-time mission at age 19. I grew closer to my Heavenly Father more than ever before during these 2 years; witnessing His children make the decisions to come closer to Him. After leaving Seattle, Washington and the people I loved so much, I returned home. Upon returning home I met the most beautiful girl, Avery Miyahara. After just a short time, Avery and I knew that we should be married! We were sealed together for time and all eternity in the Atlanta, Georgia LDS Temple on June 6, 2015. We now live in Provo, Utah as students at Brigham Young University. The start of this Fall 2016 semester has been busy, a lot of fun, and a lot of hard work. Avery and I are in the process of figuring out where we will be this summer, with her graduating and me looking for a Sophomore internship. Life isn't easy, and we have experienced trials and hard times that have helped us grow. Through those experiences we have been able to grow closer together as a couple as closer to God, and that brings great joy.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church of Jesus Christ on the Earth today. I know that each and every person on this Earth can know this is true, through having an open heart, and through acting by reading the Book of Mormon, praying to know if it's true, and then acting upon the answer that is received. This book is of God, and inspired by God. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, through sincere and heartfelt prayer this is what I feel from the witness of the Holy Ghost, and I know that this is an eternal truth. After centuries of being lost from the Earth, Heavenly Father reached out to us to reveal this sacred book and truth through the prophet Joseph Smith. Through Joseph Smith, the original church of Jesus Christ was restored to the earth. I know that God continues to speak to man through a prophet in these days since that time. I know that President Thomas S. Monson is that prophet, called of God on the earth today. Heavenly Father loves His children, and He will show us the way. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He suffered and died for us, so that we may be strengthened through our trials in this life, and so that we may live with God again after this life. I know that these things are true, through the witness of the Holy Ghost. It brings incredible peace, joy and comfort. There is NO WAY that they are not true. I am so grateful for these sacred truths. I am so grateful for the blessings that have taken place thus far in my life. God is good, ALL the time. As we look to Him, He will always show us the way. He has a plan, and He wants us to learn of His plan. I know that through Faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repenting of the times we may slip and then recommitting, being obedient to His commandments, and striving to feel His spirit throughout our life, we can feel His love. I am so grateful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

Throughout my life I have been blessed with good and great people by my side to help me become my best self. I credit all success and happiness in my life to those around me, and most of all to Heavenly Father, and His Son, Jesus Christ. I love them so very much. I live my faith by striving my very best, every day to keep God's commandments. Through simple decisions to choose the right, I feel Heavenly Father's love each day. With this love from Him, I feel great joy and peace each day. I am grateful for all that God has given me, and want to show Him each day that I am grateful through my thoughts, actions and words. I strive to follow this scripture, "Look unto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not." My wife is such a great example to me, and being with her each day helps me want to do my best. I live my faith by loving her, and doing my best to serve her. I live my faith by loving my family, and friends. I love to see them happy and see them smile. I have been touched by the simple actions of love to others, and I want to live my faith by providing that for those around me. I live my faith by living each day to it's fullest!
