Hi I'm Nick

I have been called to serve in the Mexico Mexico City East Mission, leaving in January. I love the gospel!

About Me

I love music, especially the hymns of the church! I have played piano for almost 12 years, and it is amazing! I have worked for 5 summers in the mountains at a Boy Scout Camp, teaching merit badges and helping the scouts. I leave in early January 2013 to serve a mission in Mexico City! After serving, I plan on finishing school to be a Civil or Mechanical Engineer. I have been a member of the LDS Church for my whole life and it has blessed me so much, I can't wait to share it with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I read through the whole Book of Mormon for the first time as a teenager and I prayed to know if it is a true book, and the Spirit told me that it is true. Every time I read a new passage of scripture or hear a message given by the prophet or one of his counselors or apostles, I feel a confirmation that God is speaking to us each day and he is aware of me and my worries and stresses. I know that He will bring us closer to Him and we can make it to heaven with Him if we choose to follow His commandments and repent of all our sins. I know that He forgives us through the Atonement and He is very excited when we give our life to Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing my love of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ through music and word. I also attend church every sunday and try my best to participate by sharing thoughts and listening carefully to other peoples comments. I help teach many young men at a Boy Scout Camp to live a life full of integrity, virtue, and loyalty. I currently attend at least two LDS Institute of Religion classes at my college each day to get more understanding and to strengthen my beliefs.
