Hi I'm Samantha

I'm a small hobby pig farmer and wife. I have a passion for agriculture, crocheting, and sewing. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a senior accounting student. I married my husband June 2011 who was born into the church. Together with my family I run and operate a pumpkin patch and a goat breeding operation with my husband. I love crocheting and sewing when I'm not studying, attending institute, or caring for my crops and livestock. Above all else I love being a wife and serving our Heavenly Father. w

Why I am a Mormon

I was not born into the church. In fact, I don't know of anyone in my family ever being a member. I became a member of the church after marrying a man who was born into the church. My husband and I were married June 2011, and that same month I began taking lessons from the missionaries. In August 2011 my husband baptized me. I made the decision to be baptized and much prayer and pondering. The Holy Ghost confirmed to me the truth of the church, the prophet, and the gospel.

How I live my faith

I serve our church by playing piano during the women's meeting. When I was first asked to play piano, I was terrible but with a lot of practice, and faith that this is what the Lord needed from me, I have improved greatly. I am also the Webelos leader for our church's cub scout pack. The faithfulness and intelligence of the 10 year old boys that I lead, ceases to amaze me.

Are Mormons Christians?

Mormons ARE Chriastians. Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer. He is our Heavenly Father's Only Begotten and because of His atonement we may one day have eternal life. To be a Christian is to believe that Jesus Christ is our Savior. The name of our church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, includes the name of our Savior. As members, we pray and worship in the name of Jesus Christ and read and study from the Book of Mormon, Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
