Hi I'm Tracy

I am an office manager of an elementary school. I have 3 married sons and 4 grandchildren. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I started working as an office manager at an elementary school 19 years ago mainly so I could go to and from "work" with my boys. However, I graduated from college in outdoor recreation and that is where my interests and hobbies lie. I love doing things in nature-- hiking, backpacking, camping. I love doing things for my family. Because of this, cooking has become another one of my hobbies. Reading in the sun is probably one of my favorite things to do. My happiest times are when all my family can be together sharing good times.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of the church, however, my father did not join the church until I was 5. It took him many years of being married to my mother before he joined, but once he made that commitment, he was the most devoted member I have ever known. Even as a small child I have always had a testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel. I am so fortunate to have the knowledge of eternal families and why we are here on earth. It has helped me have a strong marriage and one that becomes stronger all the time. I am by no means a perfect individual, but the knowledge I have of Jesus Christ helps my to remember what kind of person I am striving to become.

How I live my faith

Because of my interests, I have volunteered as a District Commissioner for the local Boy Scouts. I have also served on a local Parks and Recreation board. I have had many opportunities to serve in our church. My favorite times are the the times I have helped with the youth of our congregation. I love working with the girls ages 12 - 18. These have been very rewarding times, teaching their classes, helping them to become leaders and going to camp with them. I now help serve the women of our congregation. We help serve the women's needs spiritually and physically in various ways and I help coordinate these activities.
