Hi I'm Joseph Greer

i was born in the church. i'm a state champion in the shot put and i'm a mormon.

About Me

I have many god given talents from singing and playing the piano, to working hard on my fathers kennel. I liftweights for fun, i train dogs with my dad and i played football in high school and track.

Why I am a Mormon

I was actually born into the church. My mother was a convert and my fater was also born into the church. he would often times bear his testimony to me and i took every word he said in testimony to heart. Soon thereafter it wasn't difficult for me to recognize everyone who didn't have the gospel lacked something that i saw everyday. They lacked conviction in one idea, their ideals wandered beween what i knew was right and wrong. Since there isn't a grey area i knew i had to follow the better portion of those people. The members here serve willingly and work along side me. God has given me many talents and a strong, capable body and so I knew that i was to serve him to the best of my abilities and give him what he was due as my savior.

How I live my faith

i try to live every day like the prophet suggests. focus on others, serve them and then keep your mind open to new inspirations by the spirit. life is so much more simple if you are to listen to the spirit, he will lead you toward a happier and better decision than you could ever choose. read the scriptures daily and speak to god as sincerely as you can so that he can give a blessing in return. when we do what he asks he is bound to help us. but when we don't follow him we have no promise which will lead us into pain and misery.

What is the priesthood?

Joseph Greer
the priesthood is the autority to act in the name of god. the priesthood helps to give blessings to others around you. which includes the healing of the sick, blessings on the needy and the authority to perform baptism. Show more Show less
