Hi I'm Talan

I play baseball. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love baseball. I started playing when I was 9 and played all through high school. I taught myself to beat box. I love to do anything active. I love Ultimate Frisbee, football, basketball, hiking, anything. I hiked to the top of Mt. Adams in Washington with my Boy Scout troop in the summer of 2011. I'm the second youngest child of six and I'm an uncle. I have four nephews and one niece. During high school I went to a community college for my junior and senior year and took college classes. I graduated high school with an associate's degree. I've completed a year of college at Brigham Young University Provo.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because being a member of this church fills me with joy. Knowing that I can be with my family forever is the greatest joy in my life. Through Jesus Christ's sacrifice for me I can be free from mistakes I've made and focus on helping others. I try to invite everyone I can to experience the same joy I feel. I know Jesus Christ is my Savior and through him I can live with my family forever.

How I live my faith

Currently I am on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. For two years I talk to everyone I meet and share my beliefs and what I know to be true. I love talking about Jesus Christ all day, every day.
