Hi I'm Heather

I love sports, music, twitter, facebook, I'm a student, sister, daughter, aunt, returned missionary, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love sports, basketball, baseball and football are my favorite! I am a huge fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, the Boston Celtics. I love Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett (even though he doesn't play for the Celtics anymore). I am the oldest in my family, and I'm the first one in my family to be adopted along with my little sister a couple years after I was adopted. I was sealed to my parents at 6 months old in the Provo, Utah temple. I'm going to school to become a probation officer and pretty much be a professional babysitter.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, and I always knew it was true. I honestly never prayed about it or the Book of Mormon until I came out on my mission. I have been blessed to see the church bless my families life, by being sealed to them for time and all eternity. My family, we had this opportunity to be sealed because both my little sister and I are adopted. Being a Mormon has been the best thing that's happened to me. Its been the one thing in my life that hasn't changed and is always fit for me to be the best person I can honestly be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving the Lord in a mission. I gave a year and half of my time to show the Lord how much I love him. Its been tough, but I know this is what I needed to do with my life. I show my faith by doing the little things the Lord asks of me, sometimes the things He asks are hard, but I know its so worth it! The Lord asks us to do things, and I know by doing that I'll be blessed. I show the Lord I have faith in him by doing the things He asks of us. Like the scriptures say, "By small and simple things are great things brought to pass." By showing a little faith, great things will come to pass.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Heather
Husbands and wives can be together forever. I know this because I have had an opportunity to be sealed to my parents, a binding covenant that keeps us together forever if we do the things that we are suppose to do, and to be together for ever. I don't remember being sealed to my parents because I was only 6 months old, but when my little sister was sealed I remember bits and pieces, and I'm grateful for that. Show more Show less
