Hi I'm Dallen Garvin

I grew up in Price, Utah. I love Sports, I love to hang out with my family and I LOVE EATING FOOD, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing sports. My favorite sports to play are basketball, volleyball and ultimate Frisbee. I love just being active and having a good time. I have the best family in the world and the cutest nieces and nephews out there. I love being with my family and just enjoying each others presence. I love music,at my college I was a DJ for 2 years! I loved every second of it. But out of all of those things, I love Jesus Christ most of all. I am grateful daily for him sacrificing and suffering for my sins. I can't thank him enough.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and I lived on my parents testimony for a long time. There came a time when I needed to chose what I was going to do. I needed to gain my own testimony of this church or go and do something else. So I prayed to my Heavenly Father to let me know if this church was true. Heavenly Father let me know through the Holy Ghost that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to others. I try and do my best all the time, and be the man that our Heavenly Father wants me to be. That includes praying daily, reading the scriptures and going to church.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Dallen Garvin
A testimony is something that we have learned is true by praying to our father in heaven to know if it is in fact true. By praying to know, and having a real desire to know along with faith that he will answer us, we can receive the answer to any question. Moroni 10:5 Show more Show less
