Hi I'm Mary Ann

Born in California, got to Texas as fast as I could! I'm an Artist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a stay at home mom and free-lance artist, I work hard and have very little 'free' time. My family is the most important part / 'thing' in my life. I'm very fortunate to be able to work at a job I LOVE while staying home with my kids. 'No daycare' is such a huge blessing! Being able to be there for my family, making memories, spending time together, is another major blessing in my life~ When I'm not 'creating' artwork I love to write poetry, books and children's books, design apps, bake, work out and of course, every mom's absolute number one requirement...play video games...LOL The majority of my time these days is spent taking care of and helping my kids.

Why I am a Mormon

As an advocate for 'discovering and deciding things' on your own time and by your own measure of investigation being a member of this church is not a casual thing for me. Rest assured, I have done my research! The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the ONLY church on this Earth that has the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is the ONLY entity of religion that is lead and headed by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There is no other way to be saved from sin, mortality or torment then through His divine Atonement and sacrifice on our behalf. This is the ONLY church that answers ALL the questions. It is the ONLY church with the TRUTH! To me, that is the only answer as to why I am a memebr of this church, I want forgiveness...I want mercy...I want to be with my family and my God forever. Those things can only be accomplished through Jesus Christ...and this is His church.

How I live my faith

I'm the 'media' person for our wards women's organization. So basically I design the handouts / posters / fliers for any upcoming events or activities for the women at church. In the past I've served as the head of the children's organization, called Primary, I LOVE Primary. I love kids...kids are SO fun and of course there's never a dull moment when you stick seven, six year olds in a room together...you're going to laugh with them...that's what they do best...make friends and laugh! I'm also called as a Visiting Teacher, which is basically going out and visiting your friends each month! If you don't know them...you will! :) It's always a fun and wonderful thing to make a new friend!
