Hi I'm Nate

I've moved around alot, been to the hottest and coldest climate. I like laughing and quoting movies and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to surf, twirl fire, and do improv or any type of theatre. I won seniors got talent in highschool. I can quote any movie i've seen almost exactly even to the accents. I am kind of crazy but im smart about the stupid things i do. I wrestled a five foot black tip shark and held its heart to prove it. I've been to 48 states and lived in 6. I am an eagle scout. I work as a gym teacher/ homework helper at a daycare. I love children to the end of the earth. I love to laugh and tell stories of my experiances. I've worked on a farm and know how to work. I want to study the brain, be a LDS motivational speaker or do voices for disney movies or even be in them it doesnt matter i just want to be heard. Keep smiling is my catch phrase and if im breathing its a good day. :) I plan to follow the lord in everything i do and get married in the San Diego temple someday.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and it was always open to me but i took it for granted. Highschool came around and i got into a bad group of friends and started doing some things not in harmony with what i had been taught throughout my entire life. It started out with ending my relationship with my best friend of 5 years, it tore me apart but i was better because of it. There were times in the night where i would climb out the window in my basement and run to the park and yell to the Lord at the top of my lungs even at 2 in the morning. "Why is it so hard for me? Can't you help me? Im hurting down here and you don't even care!" these are the kinds of things i yelled as tears streamed down my face in the night..Finally i had the courage to do what i needed to do, I went to my Bishop and got it all off my shoulders so that i could do my duty as a priesthood holder and step up to carry the potential placed upon me. Just when i was doing good my Dad had to change jobs and we had to move to Texas. I looked at the move as an oppurtunity to do better and be what The Lord needed me to be. I strived so hard to follow Christ only to be tempted time and time again by a girl and i gave in. Like striking out at a baseball game only to sit in the dugout while my Heavenly Father sat in the stands crying that i may do better next time. The priests went to the beach to fish and i stayed up all night unloading on a friend, he then gave me his phone and said "break up with her" and so i did. I had barely become a priest when the only other priest in the ward ran away from his family because of the religion, my only other friend my age there was gone. I took on this responsibility for the youth, my family, my friends family, and the ward to be what they needed me to be. It was here when i realized the impotance of the church and how it is the only true one on the earth today. I would be dead without it i have no doubt of this in my mind, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I love interracting with the youth and helping them through challenges and bringing them closer to the Lord with my positive attitude. I teach 7-8 year olds which has been such a blessing watching them get baptized. The spirit in the childrens classes is so strong, it feels as if they are closer to the Lord since they havent been gone from Heavenly Father as long. They make me laugh and i hope that i as a teacher succeed in keeping them active for their trials that come ahead.
