Hi I'm Kelsie

I'm a student, an optimist, and a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Arizona but have moved all over the United States. My family is everything to me. They are my biggest support system. We go out of our way to make sure that everything is good. Currently I am a student in Idaho and I am studying Public Relations.I am a HUGE people person. I could talk to anyone about anything.I love helping people in whatever way I can. I love sports! It doesn't matter what sport it is I will watch it. Music is also a big part of my life. It has the ability to make others feel things.I also love shopping. I guess you could say it is one of my talents. I worked at a shoe store for 2 years so that might be a major part of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints because I can be.This gospel has brought me happiness that I have been unable to experience anywhere else. I know that I am never alone because I have the Lord. This is something that this church reiterates. At our darkest times we can turn to Christ. He is always there to guide me. The Book of Mormon is true. There is no doubt about it. The things written in it are so applicable to our lives in this day and age. By reading this book I have gained a further understanding of Christ. My faith and love for Him grows everytime I open this book.

How I live my faith

I have participated in many different callings in the church. Currently I am in the Relief Society Presidency. This calling has helped me to get to know the women in my area so I can attend to their various needs. By participating in this I have developed friends that I would not have had otherwise. I have also been on Stake Youth Committee. While having this calling I was on the Mormon Prom planning committee where I planned a prom for the youth in the state of Indiana. It was a great learning experience where I met kids from all over the place.
