Hi I'm Christopher Cardenas

I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. I play the viola, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

What people of experience share, I try to take heed to. That's why I love quotes. I love swimming and new outdoor activities. Music was a new world that I found in middle school, with the viola. The viola is one of the best instruments a person can learn. I am working on a Bachelor's Degree in Viola Performance from Brigham Young University. I love thinking and trying new things, that's kinda what life is starting to become for me.

Why I am a Mormon

Continuing to be "mormon" has only motivated me to want to realize and feel that there is something real about the teachings of the Lord and that He himself and our Father in Heaven are real. Through our Heavenly Father's love, I have come to know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. This creation of an earth is such a wonder and God's plan for us is so beautiful that I will strive to not only know and understand it, but to feel it. I have come to know that the teachings the Lord are real and we must really strive to be like Him so that we can live with our Heavenly Father again, with our families. That is the reality that I wish to share and live by, and because I know this, I am Mormon.

How I live my faith

The reason my faith is a great part of my life right now is because I'm on my mission. Every day I get to really feel the spirit. It's a certain joy that our Lord is pleased with what you are doing and what you're searching for, and it brings you to a feeling of knowledge that this is the gospel of the Lord. I live it by reading the scriptures, praying, applying all I can from the words of Prophets and the Lord, and trying to share with everyone the joy and benefit of this message. Before my mission, I didn't really do much but always had this good feeling about the church. Now, because of what I've found, I look to serve my fellow brothers and sisters, share my testimony with people so they can feel what I feel, and try to grow in love each day.
