Hi I'm Graham

I grew up in various places throughout Alberta. I am a university graduate working in the oilfield, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an mechanical engineer working at a oil refinery. I've been married for 8 years and we have an 18 month old daughter. I enjoy music, card games, and skiing.

Why I am a Mormon

Both my parents are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, so I grew up attending church and learning the doctrine. As a teenager, I had to decide for myself if the Church was true, especially since I was considering a 2 year mission for the Church. I certainly wasn't going to teach doctrine that I didn't believe in. Through study, pondering, and prayer, I gained a testimony, and decided to serve a mission. This testimony has been a great strength to me and continues to grow.

How I live my faith

I'm in charge of the Sunday School in our congregation. I help teachers teach, and often do a lot of the teaching myself. This gives me an opportunity to study scriptures and the words of prophets. At home, we pray everyday - a concept that our daughter is already catching onto.
