Hi I'm Aprael

I was born & raised in the south, I do not have a strong southern accent, I’m a mom of an amazing young man, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello. I’m a single mother of one. I work in the optometric industry. I believe the best way to spell love is T-I-M-E, and I love spending time with my son, family, and friends. I enjoy learning and trying new things. I love to read I’m a HUGE Harry Potter fan, but I also enjoy books like The Help and The Glass Castle. My most favorite thing to do is laugh!!! 

Why I am a Mormon

I joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 18. I was raised with some Catholic background, but mostly in the Baptist church. When I began learning more about the LDS church I realized what it meant to feel the Holy Ghost. I realized that my Savior does love me, and He will guide me here on the Earth. I learned there are ways I can constantly strive to be more like Him, which in turn brings me closer to Him. Thru prayer, fasting, scripture study, and the testimony of others, I have gained my own testimony. I believe the best way to know something for your self is to do it, or to live it. I’ve been living the Gospel for several years now, and I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Lord’s church. I feel privileged to be a member.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in all that I do. I believe prayer and scripture study bring me closer to my Heavenly Father, and help me to be more like my Savior Jesus Christ. We have four amazing books, that can truly be our compass in life if we would just liken our life unto them. I try to be the best example for my son so he will also strive to build his testimony on our Savior, by attending church regularly, having daily family prayer & scripture study, and by setting aside time each Monday night for us to gather as a family, sing, and have a lesson to invite the Holy Ghost into our mind, our hearts and into our home. I believe in seeking for opportunities to serve, and ways to be an instrument in the Lord’s hands.
