Hi I'm Aaron Andrei

I'm a soldier of love.

About Me

I am a blithe free-spirit. I love to make everyone around smile. I was born and raised in Houston, TX were everything is bigger and better. I am the middle child of a 7 sibling family. I appreciate the sentiment found in beautiful art. I was born on the best day ever, Halloween! I am ridiculously facetious.

Why I am a Mormon

Coming from a family who didn't have much, I learned to appreciate what little I had. To me that boiled down to one thing. My family. Their company was all I ever needed to be happy. Although I was blessed to be brought up in the church, my family was sort of inactive most of my youth. When I started going back to church with my older brother, never once did I question the church. It just always felt right. The thing that I loved most about the church was the fact that they focused on two main things. Family and happiness. How could a church that focused so much on the importance of family and the happiness of its members be wrong? Sure the standards of the church are held up really high and the life of a latter-day saint isn't the easiest to live, but the blessings that we can receive from following and keeping the commandments of God overshadow those simple things the Lord asks of us. I love my family and I love to be happy. Through Jesus Christ's true church, I will ALWAYS have that. I know without a doubt that this church is true simply because I had the faith to ask the Lord himself if it was true. He has answered me. I've felt of his power and his love for me. How could I ever deny that? That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I'm trying to be like Jesus; I'm following in his ways. I'm trying to love as he did, in all that I do and say. At times I am tempted to make a wrong choice, but I try to listen as the still small voice whispers, 'Love one another as Jesus loves you. Try to show kindness in all that you do. Be gentle and loving in deed and in thought, for these are the things Jesus taught.'

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Straight from the introduction of Our Heritage... "Millions of faithful Saints have also had testimonies of the divinity of Jesus Christ. This knowledge has motivated them to make the sacrifices necessary to build The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the kingdom of God on the earth." We as latter-day saints wish to spread the blessings and joy we receive in our lives from living the gospel. We want the whole world to feel the same. Show more Show less
