Hi I'm Lexie

I'm a college student, aspiring English teacher, and a writer.

About Me

I am a junior in high school, and I have been apart of the church since I was eight years old. I'm a writer/novelist and hope to be an author someday, like Orson Scott Card. I am also a musician and I have been playing the viola (viola yes, violin no. :) for six years now and I have been thankful enough for this particular talent to preform for some church services. When I'm not working on homework, playing on the computer, writing, or reading, I also enjoy playing badminton, listening to music (musicals specifically) and just being able to spend time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

While I was raised in the faith, I fully believe the gospel to be true, and the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. Through my experiences in church activities, reading of the scriptures, daily happenings, and praying I have come to strengthen my testimony in the Church. I believe in Heavenly Father and the Atonement, and love him with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I do activities with my Young Men and Young Womens group, and do service whenever I am able to. I try my best to live the Gospel and hope to share it with other people around me in my daily life.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

We love all peoples, and believe that EVERYONE is a child of Heavenly Father. We serve not just those in our own faith, but people of many faiths. One of the greatest teachings that Jesus taught us was to love everyone, and service is one of the many ways we can show our love for our fellow man. Show more Show less
