Hi I'm Aaron Anguiano

I was born in Houston, Texas. Currently serving a mission in California Los Angeles. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Texas, and have only lived in Georgia and Texas my entire life. Currently I live in California for 2 years. I am currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I love sharing the gospel with people every day all day. I love sharing the gospel and seeing the change it makes in peoples lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, o sea "Mormon" because of the gospel of Jesus Christ saving my life. I was born and raised in the church but if you ask me I will tell you that I am a convert to the church. I will tell you that I joined the church when I was 18. Because yes.. I was born and raised in the church but when I was around 15 I start of kind of questioning my faith and I was hanging out with some kids who weren't exactly the greatest example. Kids that loved to party and drink and do drugs. And I seemed to get angry more and more, you know your average teenage stage kid... and then I stopped going to church, I stopped going for 3 years.. and within those three years my life was a wreck, it just kepts spiraling down... until one day, after talking with my parents for a while, I decided to go to my room and pray... I started praying and ended up praying for 2 hours straight... and after those two hours I felt this sense of peace that I have never felt before... I had asked if this church was true, and I know without a doubt in my mind, heart, and soul that God had answered my prayers. Ever since then I started going back to church and my life entirely turned around. I was happy again, I felt peace and joy in my life... and the only difference from now and then was that I was living the gospel of Jesus Christ.. I can testify to each and everyone of you that this Church is the TRUE church of Jesus Christ.. being restored through a prophet called of God, Joseph Smith, and translating the Book of Mormon. With the Book of Mormon and the Bible I know that we now have once again on the earth the FULNESS of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And all you have to do is ask God for yourself to know if these things are true. Because He is listening to each and every one of your prayers. And He will answer you as well! This is only a little part as to why I am a mormon!

How I live my faith

Well, currently right now I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The way I live my faith everyday is by showing the world how I love my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.. and by looking for every opportunity I have to share that with every person I pass by! I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and I do my best to live it each and every day because I know the blessings that come from keeping the commandments of God. I wake up at 6:30 AM everyday and start preparing for the day and every day all day I am thinking about the people here in California.. thinking about how I can serve them, how I can help them come closer to our Saviour Jesus Christ. I study the scriptures every day with these people in my mind. Because, I have been greatly blessed from living the gospel of Jesus Christ and because of the joy and peace I have received and my family has received I wish to share this gift with the world. I wish that everyone I see has an opportunity to partake of this gift and these blessings I have been blessed with.

Why is it important for us to take care of our bodies? Why are our bodies called temples of God in the Bible?

Aaron Anguiano
It is important for us to take care of our bodies because we are literal sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. And our bodies are created in His image.. Our Heavenly Father has trusted us with these bodies.. and if we defile it with things like drugs or alcohol or tobacco, then we are showing disrespect not only to ourselves, but to Heavenly Father as well. We are showing Him that we don't really care about the gift that He has given us. But, if we DO take care of our bodies then we have the promise from the Lord that we will receive strength and wisdom and be able to feel the Holy Ghost more in our lives. Show more Show less
