Hi I'm Aleisha

I go to BYU and I love it. I just bought a house. I love to sew. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I married my husband in December of 2010 and we recently bought a home. I am studying to be an elementary school teacher. I love to cook, sew, snowboard, play disc golf, and do things with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me joy and peace. Knowing that I can talk to my Heavenly Father and ask for His guidance is so comforting to me. Life is full of big decisions and it is through prayer to my Heavenly Father and through faith in His plan of happiness that I can feel comfort and confidence that I am making the right decisions. Being able to access the Atonement is something I am really grateful for. Without it, we would not be able to return to our Father in Heaven as the imperfect beings that we are. With it, we can live with our families forever. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me through the trials in life and has celebrated the joys with me. I am so grateful that I have a strong foundation to stand on when trials and temptations knock me down. I know that I am a child of God and that He loves me. He has a plan for me. He is proud of me. He wants me to succeed and He wants me to grow. Knowing that helps me to live righteously and to live with purpose. God will NEVER leave us alone. Being a Mormon is hard. It takes work and constant nourishment. But I would be nowhere without it. I would be nothing.

How I live my faith

My husband is currently serving in a single's ward so we get to go to church with a great singles ward. We love it. I get to teach them about marriage and family in a class every other Sunday. We also get to have groups of them to our house on Monday evenings for games a spiritual thought.
