Hi I'm Josh Walker

I'm a supply chain student who loves running, rock climbing, and wearing suits. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently pursuing an undergraduate in Business Management at Brigham Young University. I have a thirst for knowledge and love to learn. Although I enjoy learning in the classroom, I enjoy the opportunities to go outside to run, hike, rock climb, bike, or any similar activity that allows me to experience the sunshine. However, of all my passions, my greatest treasure is my family. They are the most important aspect of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both raised members of the Church, as was I. This doesn't mean that I didn't have to come to know of the truthfulness of the gospel for myself. My parents taught me correct principles, and allowed me to govern myself. God teaches us through the scriptures that if we ask, we shall receive. I have prayed to know for myself, and the Holy Spirit has made it known to me through the feelings in my heart that this is Christ's church once again established on the earth. By living the gospel, I have found a particular peace not found anywhere else. I cannot deny the blessings I have received, nor can I deny the witnesses that I have been given time and time again. That is why I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. I believe that if you're not serving others, you're living life wrong. I am able to attend church each Sunday and find opportunities to serve others throughout that week. A great portion of living my faith consists of striving to be obedient to God's commandments. Essentially, I strive to follow the example and apply the teachings of my Savior Jesus Christ.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Josh Walker
Our faith will increase through diligent study, prayer, and obedience to the promptings of the Holy Ghost and the commandments. Our faith grows as we seek to know more about the Savior, and strive to live by His teachings, and to follow His example. We can increase our faith by serving others. God asks us to "experiment upon my words." If we do exactly that, if we go and do the things the Lord commands, our faith will grow. That's His promise. Show more Show less
