Hi I'm Lorie

I live in Southern, California with my husband and three children. I served a Mission in Argentina and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a hairdresser with lots of wonderful clients some of whom have become lifelong friends. I love scrap-booking and making cards. I sometimes wish I had more time for it and really enjoy getting together with my friends to share crafting ideas. My greatest experience in life other than my family was serving a Mission in Argentina. Living with the people of that country for 18 months taught me so much about what is important in life, faith, family and friends. I returned from Argentina and met my husband and now have three wonderful children. As a family we love the beach and spend many summer days and evenings there. Our favorite family vacations are in Lake Tahoe where we alternate with winter and summer vacations.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel gives me peace of mind and joy. Peace of mind knowing I can rely on the Lord to help me through lifes challenges, and joy in my family as I watch them grow up. I also know that being a Mormon has helped me raise my family better. My high school age son and daughter have lots of friends who share the same values we do. There are also lots of leaders that help give them good counsel and guidance. When I look at my life today, everything that is important to me I have because of the influence of the gospel!

How I live my faith

My calling is Primary President. I am lucky because I get to spend lots of time with my youngest daughter who is ten and all of the other wonderful children under 12 years old in our Ward. I love planning the activities and we go to the pool and beach in the summer and plan fun Haloween and Christmas activities in the Winter. It is a great time because I know my daughter is growing up so fast and soon all she will want to do is spend time with her friends. I look forward to serving another Mission with my husband someday.
