Hi I'm Jose Vincent Rodriguez

I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a retired "Army Security Agency" teletyupe operator. I enjoy cycling, fishing, reading, writing, and scouting (activities). Blue is my favorite color. Yellow roses are my favorites. Being on time is a must. I enjoy my Spanish Branch calling. Some day, I would like to be present in a live general conference.

Why I am a Mormon

When growing up in my home state, I did al ot of reading from the Holy Bible. I tried to fashion my life after the teachings of the prophets and the apostles. Today, I follow a living prophet and fourteen of his apostles. They teach me truth, they comfort me, they direct and guide my spiritual life, and they primarily teach me how to enhance my faith in the Lord Jesus. The Book of Mormon brings me close to the true teachings of the Lord, even about his existence, beginning in 1 Nephi. While I like to do the prayerful scripture study and readings, the Holy Ghost has testified to me that doing daily Book of Mormon reading is never going to stir me wrong, of this I testify in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

The Branch President task me to count heads "close to the end of the Sacrament Meeting" in the event there are late "arrivees" in the chapel. During monthly visits to families of the Spanish Branch, I enjoy sharing my testimony. When inviting missionaries [to feed them] I find it opportune to visit investigators or those fallen away from our active Branch attendance.
