Hi I'm Jazmin Chardell Ramirez

I grew up in Los Angeles, California. I love dancing and playing Basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play basketball. I also love to dance. I go to college and work. My focus is to do things that make me happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church, but it wasn't until I was 18 years old that I decided to find out for myself the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I wanted to know if the Book of Mormon was the word of God, so I prayed about it. As I began reading the Book of Mormon daily, I found myself continually finding the answers to my prayers. I had found an undescribable peace reading the Book of Mormon and a strong desire to continue reading it. Never have I been more sure about a book's reliability in my life. It has helped me in times of need and in times where I needed guidance. The prophets in the Book of Mormon have motivated me to follow Jesus Christ despite all obstacles. Jesus Christ sacrificed his life to redeem all the mistakes we have made and will make. He felt all our pains, so that he would know how to comfort us in the future. I have learned that it is never to late to change. Like any parent or big brother, God and Jesus Christ want us to learn from our mistakes and succeed. They want us to have true success; the kind that lasts forever. It makes sense for a family member to feel that way. As I have strived to follow the example of Jesus Christ, I have had an increase of joy and peace. Through the power of the Holy Ghost, I have felt God himself reassuring me that choosing to be a disciple of Jesus Christ is the way to go. If the Book of Mormon is true, Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true restored church upon the face of the earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the only true church. Like any loving parent, God has designed the perfect plan for families to have everlasting joy and success. Being a member of this church has made all the difference.

How I live my faith

With the stress of work or school, young adults need to have a break once in a while and just dance. I had the opportunity of serving in the Dance Committee. Like any calling in the Church, it takes desire, hard work and committment. Being apart of the Dance Committee, I learned that team work is essential and that each member of the committee plays an important role in the success of a dance. Our goal as a committee is to provide a positive environment where young adults can have fun and interact with one another. Preparing a flier for our dances was only the beginning of preparation. We contacted young adults in various cities and visited different areas to promote our events. Seeing the effects of hard work is always nice, but I've come to learn something even better. One can still have so much fun without the use of Drugs.
