Hi I'm Taro

I'm a normal and shy Japanese guy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am college student. At college I study accounting and business administration. In the future, I want to be certified public accountant. Right now, I'm taking a break from school. I have many hobbies. My hobbies include sports, playing the piano, drawing pictures, reading, listening the music, kamigata-rakugo, using PC, and watching TV. Not all of these hobbies are good. But because I have these various hobbies, I have the chance to speak with both kids and adults.

Why I am a Mormon

Because my family are members, I was born into this church and from when I was young I had the chance to go to church every Sunday and hear people's testimonies. In my family, I had the chance to do things like studying scriptures(such as the Book of Mormon) and participating in an activity called family home evening. Because of hearing my parents and other people's testimonies and feeling their faith, I was strengthen and went to church. But despite that, during my last year of high school, I became saddened in my heart. Through relying on God and seeking his help, I was able to feel the power of Jesus Christ's atonement. And also through reading the Book of Mormon and praying, I was able to gain a testimony of truthfulness of this church and gospel. From that time, even though I had shortcomings and weaknesses I could feel the power of atonement and through the spirit make a connection with God. through the Atonement and prayer I am able to know of the reality and existence of God and Jesus Christ and receive blessings from gospel. And I also can know that God loves me and that I am his child.

How I live my faith

Right now, I'm helping people so that they can come to Christ find truth and feel joy. The Book of Mormon holds the key to achieving all these things. Through studying and following the teachings within the Book of Mormon it guides people to God. I read this book everyday. I'm always asking God if this book is true. Through this I can always know the God and Jesus Christ are there. Because of this I can keep my faith. I like seeing people, who need the gospel, receive blessings. But in order to receive blessings, we need patience. When feel the spirit and commit to follow God I progress and grow. Through following God and Jesus Christ and seeking for patience we can obtain a testimony. By having a connection with God and receiving help I can live the gospel everyday.
