Hi I'm Jason

I'm a graduate student. I'm passionate about healthcare. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a graduate student pursuing my Masters in Business and Healthcare Administration. I have a wonderful wife and two wonderful Children, both under the age of 3. My little girl is already scaring me with her enthusiasm for shoes (although all she does is chew them, much to my wife's chagrin, at this point in life). Balls, bats and baskets have been a part of my life every since I can remember. I am the oldest of four boys, and we grew up with a mother who said we could have a mom or dog. The mom obviously won and I am grateful to her and my father for their example and teachings throughout my life. I am pumped for the future of my family and all of the wonderful thing that are in store for us.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Mormon Faith, however, I have not always practiced it faithfully. Having lived both faithfully and unfaithfully I can say, thankfully, that I am so happy to be an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints today. There is no greater blessing and stability that I have in my life than by understanding and following the commandments of our Heavenly Father. The eternal blessings that come from covenants made with my Heavenly Father are reassuring in this turbulent world. I know that through the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as restored on the earth through a Prophet, that the necessary keys are available for families to be together forever, and for us to return to live with our Father in Heaven upon leaving this world. The principles of modern day revelation and the clarification that comes from the Book of Mormon make perfect sense to me. We are all children of God and why would he only offer these precious gifts to a portion of his children. My testimony of the restored Gospel is alive and burning and I hope that others can have the same blessings that I do, by having the ordinances and blessings from the Gospel in their lives.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith daily. I have the blessing of being able to work with the Youth of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am thankful for their example and enthusiasm for life. I am awarded the blessing of getting to interact with them at all types of events, from Sunday School, to dances, sports, and other conferences. I try to practice the teaching of Christ in my thoughts, words and deeds. When I can, I try to serve my neighbors, friends, families, and strangers. Oddly, I feel selfish because of the overwhelming amount of blessings I receive when I do so.
