Hi I'm Jordan

I make videos on YouTube. I'm taking a two year vacation from being vegetarian. I'm serving in Neuquén, Argentina. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I'm Jordan. I love making videos on YouTube and currently pursuing a degree in Film. I am a son of a single mother living with my grandparents. I'm interested in how technology and social media affects the spread of the Gospel for its benefit. I'm not sure everyone believes that God has a sense of humor. I know He does. I've been vegetarian for two years before my mission call came. Want to take a wild guess and where I was called? Argentina, the meat capital of the world. I'm also liberal.. living in Utah.. going to BYU. Go figure. But no matter what you believe in, politics or what your favorite movie or TV show is, we are all still children of God. :) If you ever feel like no one loves you or that no one cares, here is a start. I love you and I care about you. Want another? God loves and cares about you and so does His Son, Jesus Christ. This knowledge alone has brought so much hope into this life and I hope that it will do the same for you.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon not only because I was born into a family of members, but because it is what makes me happy and optimistic about the future. I know that it is because of Christ that I can be saved and can reunite with him again someday. I also know that my Heavenly Father knows the best path for me to be happy and he loves and wants the best for me. I am Mormon because this is the Church of Happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following Christ's example to the best of my ability. I know that I am not perfect, but with Christ's help I can emulate him better. I will always stand as a witness of the truthfulness of God and his Gospel.

Why don’t Mormons drink coffee, tea, or alcohol? What is the Mormon Church’s law of health and proper diet?

I get the question a lot of how can I be vegetarian and still follow the Word of Wisdom. For me, it is true that God placed the beasts of the field for our use; to be used sparingly. I like to think that I am eating it extremely sparingly so that these beasts can be used for people who need it more than I. Show more Show less
