Hi I'm Josh

I like to work with electronics. I've traveled many places. I'm a new dad. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with 4 brothers, and have moved to many different states while my dad was a university professor. I finally found my permanent home and met my wife while at a Young Single Adults activity playing volleyball. We have a beautiful daughter and a very playful mini chihuahua. I love to be active, as I wrestled in high school and began playing volleyball while on my mission in Washington, D.C. I have a great job as an electrical technician for a small company that I've been with for over 9 years. I'm finishing school with a degree in Electrical Engineering, and really look forward to being all done with school.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church I felt that I was just living what my parents taught me, and up even until after my mission you might say thats what I was doing. Throughout my life I've struggled to know the truth for myself. Wanting firm and direct answers about the truthfulness of the church and prophets, I found myself ignoring the still small impressions the Holy Ghost was giving me throughout my life. I feel much like the people in the American continent as God anounces the apperances of his son, Jesus Christ. Throughout my life I haven't been "looking toward the heavens," instead I had been filling my life with noise and other such business to deafen my senses to the promptings of the Lord. I know the the Lord lives and loves me. somehow eevn in my darkest times, I know He always has.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending as much of church as I possibly can, and I participate in the lessons by trying to help answer questions people might not know the answer to. I really enjoy being able to hear from our leaders and try my best to incorporate the Gospel in my life. I enjoy reading my scriptures daily, saying prayers by myself, with my wife, and as a family. Every monday evening we try to get together and have a church inspired lesson and call that night "Family Home Evening". We have a short lesson, sing songs that are uplifting and come from either the Hymn book or the Children's Primary Hymn book, then have a fun activity. My wife and I read from the scriptures right before we go to sleep at night, and always sleep feeling positive and happy.
