Hi I'm Tamarah May Nelson

I've just recently become a member on August 11 2012. I am a teenager, attending High School and seminary.

About Me

I moved out of my mothers house and a loving family took me as one of their own. When I moved in I had no clue that they were Mormons. The first Sunday I lived with them they asked if I would like to come to church with them, I hadn't really been to church ever before this. So I was curious and tagged alone, since that day I haven't missed a Sunday and been to most of the activities for my age group. I got baptised and I am so very great full that I made that great decision. It has helped me in so many ways! For example, making new friends who share my interests, learning new things that can help me make good smart life choices and so many more! Once you figure out that this church is true and you feel its the right time, go with it! I believe in my heart that it will be the best day and you will NOT regret it. Have you ever been so scared that you naturally start praying that you or another will be OK? Well maybe that's because deep down inside you know someone is looking out for you. Keep that in mind if you ever need some guidance, if you truly need it, it will come!

Why I am a Mormon

Well I believe I'm a Mormon because I have asked our heavenly father if this church is true, I got my answer and it was a yes. So I continued learning more and more each day and I'm continuing to do so all the time.

How I live my faith

Well seeing as I am a teenager, I've been to girls camp! (which is a great camp for girls from the ages 12-18) you get to meet new friends that are from different churches. You also get to know people in your own church better. I've also gone to youth conference (which is a three day activity for ages 14-18) you get to go to classes that are loads of fun, also there are dances and service activities! I also attend Wednesdays which have fun activities for young women, they do all kinds of stuff. But the best is being able to go to church every Sunday, and being with your "family" (we all call each other brother and sister ex. sister Neslon)
