Hi I'm Brock

Serving the people of Tokyo, Japan. Love being outside, especially in the mountains doing any outdoor activity. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Alaska but grew up in Utah. I love doing all kind of sports. I did Cross Country, Wrestling, and Soccer in High School. Then played Rugby during college. I'm studying Aerospace Engineering. I love being outdoors. Especially in the mountains. I love doing outdoor activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking, white water rafting, motorcycle riding, shooting guns, etc. I love music. Country music is my favorite but I also love basically any type of music. I also love service and charity work!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it's true. I have tried and tested the Church and it's teachings. I studied and pondered the words contained in the Book of Mormon, The Bible, and Current revelations to the Prophet. I've found no matter how many times they are truly and earnestly tested, the same outcome always comes back. That Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God and that through him God restored the Gospel in these Latter Days. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon through the power of God and re-connected our modern revelation from God. I know that through the atonement of Jesus Christ we may be saved and that our sins can be forgiven if we only choose to believe on Christ's name and repent with humility to God. I know that there is only one way in which we may return to God and live in His presence forever. That is through the doctrine of Christ, which is the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints contains the fulness of the everlasting gospel and the restored truths of the gospel that were lost and corrupted. I know that I have received a testimony of this gospel by the power of the Holy Ghost from God, and now that I have received this testimony, I know I must abide by the doctrines of Christ or suffer as Christ did while atoning for the sins of everyone. I know I must also echo the words of Joseph Smith, "I know it, and I know that God knows it, and I can not deny it, neither dare I do it"

How I live my faith

Every Christmas my family goes to Mexico and builds homes for about ten days down there with a group called Charity Anywhere and The Starfish Difference. I love doing Service and Charity work. Currently on a Mission for the LDS Church in Japan. Always striving to follow closer in the footsteps of Christ and come closer to God.
