Hi I'm Eliza

I enjoy poetry and the special things in life. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I adore things that are vintage, classy, funny, and getting to know people! I also love poetry/literature, dark chocolate and dry humor. I did debate in high school along with ceramics. Although I was born in New York, both of my parents are from South Africa. I am currently serving in the Kobe, Japan mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon not only because I was raised in an LDS family, I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I chose to be. The principles and doctrine resonate with such truth and light that there is not a doubt in my mind that any of it could be fabricated by man. It also just solved everything, any question or problem is solved with the gospel and us following Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to work my hardest at being the best person that I can be. By being an example and trying my hardest to live the life that Heavenly Father has designed for me, I can help others come unto Christ. I love to serve and be apart of activities around me. I live my faith by having faith. One of my favorite quotes is "We don't have faith because we are blind, we have faith because we can see". I know this church is true and that God has a plan for everyone on this earth. We just need to trust in Him and do His will.
