Hi I'm Andrea

I was born in Mexico. Grew up in the United States. I love traveling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Mexico but I've lived most of my life in the United States. I like helping people, hanging out with my family/friends and taking pictures. I'm the only member of the LDS church in my family. Someday I hope to go on a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was in Mexico from second to sixth grade I was in a Catholic Elementary School. I loved my friends but I never really understood the Catholic religion even though I really tried to "get it" like some of my friends did. My family and I would go to church some times but it was really boring to me because I didn't understand. When I moved to Indiana, I met a friend that was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I truly knew nothing about it. So I would ask him questions at random times. I became interested in joining the church when I was in eighth grade but my parents didn't allow me to. It wasn't until spring of 2012 when I asked my dad again if he would allow me to change religions and he seemed to be okay with it. Honestly I was surprised that he was so 'okay' with it, and it really meant a lot to me that he allowed me to do so. After that, I started meeting with the missionaries. Everything seemed to 'click' I understood the principles of the church and soon I became baptized a member of the church. I can honestly say that I do not regret my decision of joining the church. I've met so many wonderful people and It has made me a better person. I love the church!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading my scriptures every day, helping others, teaching new friends I meet about my religion, and praying every day.
