Hi I'm Suzy

I'm dedicated to continual improvement. I'm a jokester! I am a cat person. Yep, I said it. I'm SO grateful to be a Mormon!

About Me

I have the best family and friends in the world! They are such good examples to me. I am always trying to improve. I try to be kind. I love spiritual things. I'm a jokester, and I'm super grateful to have that, or life would be a lot less fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon is true. It brings the Spirit so quickly and so powerfully and it will bring us closer to Heavenly Father than any other book. I know that this Church is true because the Spirit has testified to me. I know that our witness from the Spirit does not have to be a manifestation from an angel, but rather an undeniable feeling of peace, warmth, or joy. I know that Heavenly Father can answer your prayers right now, as you read this. Ours is a gospel of miracles. That cannot be denied! I have learned to build my testimony on what I do know rather on what I don´´t yet have. The more obedient I am to the truths found in the gospel, the happier I am, and I can't get enough of it! I could not imagine myself NOT being a Latter-day Saint, because as Peter put it, "to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life."

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily as I study scriptures, pray, and strive to serve others. I know that as I am obedient, others will see my faith, even when I don't realize they do. Several people in my life have said they see the light of the Spirit in me. It is overwhelming to know that I can be a conduit of that Spirit and bear my testimony of the truth and joy of this gospel without saying a word. One of the ways I serve is through doing family history. In the Church we believe that everyone deserves an opportunity to accept the gospel and be baptized. With both of my parents being converts to the Church, thousands of my ancestors have passed on without the opportunity to be baptized. I have been able to do vicarious baptisms for my female ancestors in the temple. I have also been called to serve a mission in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to help others learn what they need to do to return to Heavenly Father!
