Hi I'm Kallen Roth

I grew up in Utah blessed to grow up in the Gospel as a Latter Day Saint.

About Me

I have a family of 6 and a twin brother. My dad is not a member but I love him with all my heart, and recognize the blessing he has been in my life. My mom is a member and she has also been a huge blessing in my life. I love to play just about any sport. I love the outdoors. I love rock climbing, snowboarding, backpacking, tennis, baseball, golf, camping, running, cycling, and just trying new things. I have a passion for good food and love to find different types of food that's out there. I like to push my self and see what I'm really made of and also just relax and have a good time with people I love and enjoy being around. I've been blessed with great friends and family in my life as well as a great community members of the church whom I can affiliate with. I love the wilderness and outdoors, but also like the city and all it has to offer. I feel like differences and variations gives my life balance.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm not Mormon simply because I was raised in the church. What's most important to me is my personal relationship with God and his son Jesus Christ who atoned for EVERYONE including me. I know that God know me more personally than anyone, even myself. He know my divine potential as a heavenly father and has put my on this earth for a reason and with responsibilities that come with all that I've been blessed with. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of god, and upon praying about it's truthfulness I've felt the overwhelming joy that the spirit gave me upon kneeling down and sincerely asking. I simply cannot deny the feelings I've had and answers I've received when reading the scriptures and that even includes the bible. I know that the Joseph Smith was a true prophet of god and as a young unlearned man, he did restore the church and translated the ancient records of what I know to be the Book of Mormon. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the true and living prophet upon the earth today and that he was ordained of God to have special keys and authority over the church. I know that I am human and that even the prophets of god are human and we all make mistakes, but I know that Christ atoned for our sins out of pure love and mercy, and through this atonement we can be made clean and experience joy and eternal life with our families forever, so long as we are faithful and enduring, amen.

How I live my faith

As a Latter Day Saint, I have many blessings and opportunities that bring joy and peace in my life. I go to church to renew my covenants (promises) with Christ and be spiritually uplifted so long as I put the effort to listen and invite the promptings and teachings which the holy ghost gives. I went to seminary during all my years in high school. Seminary gave me the chance to feel the spirit and learn of the gospel in during school throughout the week. I also have the privilege to go the temple and perform baptism for those who have passed away. This service has also blessed my life as well as others whom i perform the baptism in behalf of. As a Latter Day Saint I have a pretty typical schedule with work and school. I try to be as productive as I can but like to have spare time to do my hobbies and spend time with friends. I'm looking forward to spreading the Gospel of Christ as it has been restored in these latter days to the people of Guatemala where I have recently been called to serve a mission. I know it will not be easy to speak another language and be in a place unlike anywhere I've ever been, but I look forward to giving people an opportunity to make the decision to become as God would have them; as loving members of Christ's restored church.
