Hi I'm Austin Hancock

I´m from Gilbert, Arizona, I´m studing medicinal Biochemistry at ASU, and I´m a Mormon.

About Me

I´ve grown up in the Arizona heat, and I´m proud to be an ASU Sundevil. I´m studying Medicinal Biochemistry aspiring to become a pediatric anesthesiologist. I enjoy playing paintball in the 115 degree Arizona weather and I love to chill with my friends on my free time on the weekends; however, currently I´m serving a two year mission in the Fresno California Spanish Speaking Mission. I enjoy being out and helping the people, bringing the gospel unto those that have been searching for more. With Christ central in our lives, anything is possible.

Why I am a Mormon

I´m a mormon simply because I want to, I´m not forced or lead by the neck to believe the things of the church. I have studied and pondered these things for myself, and I know that they are true, and I challenge everyone out there that hasn´t taken the time to simply pick up a Book of Mormon and read it, to do so, because I can promise you it will change your life.

How I live my faith

I´ve always lived my life how I´ve wanted it to be. My parent´s didnt force religion on me growing up, I grew up in the church and I found for my own self knowledge that this church is truly the one and only true and whole church on the face of the Earth today. I strive to live each day with the fewest mistakes, which takes alot of effort because I´m human and I naturally make silly decisions and mistakes on a daily basis. I look ahead into the future of what I want in life, and strive for that. I realize that long lasting joy and happiness is better than any short comining, (in the moment) pleasure or fun. From learning more about the gospel of Jesus Christ, I know that if I live righteously and how he has taught us to, I can enjoy so many blessings that come from that and get to return to Heaven someday and live with my Heavenly Father. It is worth all the struggles and hardships in life to get to have that opportunity rewarded to me, to be back with a loved one is one of the best feelings in the world, and to be with my Father in Heaven will be one with such awe.
