Hi I'm Kristen

I have lived in several states in the US but now live in New England. I stay home with my 3 kids and love it! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and a mother to 3 young children. I was a dental hygienist but I now choose to stay home. I am a busy mom! I love to cook, sew, and exercise and I am interested in photography. I just started getting into running longer distances like half marathons. I love to be in the outdoors with my family, camping, hiking and exploring.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church so everything was familiar to me for as long as I can remember. When I left home and went to college was the first time I had to choose to live it only for me. Through reading the Book of Mormon, going to church and hearing great lessons from my youth leaders I had already made the decision that the church was going to be a big part of my life. I found it easy to stay committed to the church while in college because I knew the happiness and peace it brought to my life. Now that I am married to a man who is equally committed to the gospel, I find joy in teaching my children the things that I know to be true. I know families can be together forever and I want that for my family.

How I live my faith

I would say the biggest way I live my faith, as a mother, is to do everything I can daily to help teach my children to follow the example of Jesus Christ. I feel a responsibility to raise my children with a respect for others and to show kindness to those around them. This, of course, is best done through example and try every day to live my life as an example to my children. On Sundays I teach the young children in our church. With a few other women, we organize the individual class teachers and teach group lessons. It is a joy to see these happy little spirits every Sunday! They are examples to me of pure faith in Jesus Christ.
