Hi I'm Boyd

I'm from eastern Idaho. I lived two years in New Zealand. I grow famous Idaho potatoes. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I live in eastern Idaho where with my family we grow the famous Idaho potatoes. My wife and I have six children--all of which have helped us with the farming operation while going to school. I love to fly small airplanes over the beautiful Snake River Plain surrounded by the Rocky Mountains. I enjoy all outdoor activities that are so readily available. i lived in New Zealand as a missionary for two years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teachings of Jesus Christ help me to care more about others than myself. His Gospel helps me want to be a more loving, kind, and sharing individual. If I do my part while here on the earth, I can be with my family through all eternity. God has given us a Plan of Happiness that through obedience and service makes that possible.

How I live my faith

It's easy for me to live my faith when I'm surrounded by all of God's beautiful creations. Part of being a farmer is participating with God in watching things multiply and replenish such as planting one seed of wheat and seeing it produce many fold. I also feel strongly about honoring the Sabbath day--a day which I can rest from my labors and serve others. It's a day of spiritual learning and family time.
