Hi I'm Tanner Pierce

I come from a family of 12, 8 boys and 4 girls. Sports are my life. I love playing or watching sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love playing sports and being active! Sports are my life. I love playing basketball, soccer, football, ultimate frisbee, or anything else to keep me active. I also love talking and watching sports. When my family and I get together, we talk sports. I am an avid BYU fan. This last year I was a freshmen at BYU. I didn't miss a single football or basketball game. My family and I are definitely a BYU family through and through. I love being around people in any kind of situation. Being around people and getting to know new people excites me. I ran track for 3 years in high school, as well as played in various leagues for football and basketball. My family means the world to me. I know I can turn to them for anything, and at anytime. I am the third youngest of twelve kids. We are all a big part of each others lives. Currently I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I have been called to serve in the Adriatic South Mission, which consists of the countries Albania, Montenegro, Kosovo, and Macedonia.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a Mormon. I grew up in the church and most of my family are members too. I have always had a testimony of this gospel. This gospel has brought me more joy in my life than anything else in this world. I can't imagine not having this gospel in my life. I continue to live this gospel each and everyday because of what it teaches. The Gospel teaches us to love one another. Just as Christ loves us all, we are commanded to love and serve each other. I am grateful for those opportunites I have to serve others. God has blessed me so much in my life. I can look at times in my life and pinpoint when I was happiest. Whenever I am following God and his commandments, I am happiest. I know God loves me and wants me happy. He is waiting to bless us each and everyday. He blesses us when we are obedient. I continue to live this gospel simply because it makes me happy. I have a testimony of this gospel. I know it to be true. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. I know God loves every single one of us and knows us personally. Anytime I am having a bad day I can take solace in the fact that God loves me.

How I live my faith

How do I live my faith? As mentioned above, I am currently serving a mission for the Church. That means I have given two years of my life to serve the Lord and his children. I have the opportunity to share this gospel with others and bring others unto Christ. I have th opportunity to bring joy to others lives that I have enjoyed all my life.
