Hi I'm Will Ellis

I grew up in Hawaii, served a mission in Taiwan, currently studying to be a doctor, father of three girls. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a nerd. My wife agrees. I love to work with my hands. Whether its sculpting or building cardboard houses for my girls. I'm finishing my last year of medical school and will be serving as a physician in the Air Force when I complete residency. I enjoy learning from all walks of life. I served a 2-year church mission in Taiwan and was taught by the humble people there daily.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a member of the LDS church. As a young man, I saw the good that the Savior's gospel of faith, daily seeking for improvement, forgiveness brought to my parent's marriage and our family. From my childhood I learned about the Savior's Atonement. I believe in Jesus Christ because I have felt forgiveness and strength as I've repented. My parents, siblings, and now children have experienced greater unity because of our faith. I want my children to know that they were first and are always children of our Heavenly Father. I want them to learn what their Heavenly Father wants them to do in this life, including standards of morality, integrity, and charity for others. I'm a member of this church because I truly believe its teachings and authority are from a loving Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Daily prayer, scripture study from the Bible and Book of Mormon, and trying to be, speak, think as our Savior would. How I try to work with my wife with love and teach my daughters with gentleness is an attempt to daily live my faith. In church I help teach a introductory class for those learning about the LDS church and the Savior's gospel.
