Hi I'm Rachel

I grew up in Canada and am currently a student at Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to sing, dance and act. It is a dream of mine to perform on Broadway. As well as taking singing and dancing growing up, I also played basketball, volleyball and field hockey every year in high school. I am currently a college student in the United States and I am hoping to pursue a degree is Musical Theatre or Music Education. I love meeting new people, playing games and just having as much fun as possible!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a Mormon so i always had the gospel in my life. It was great as a child but as I got older i had to stop leaning on my parents and learn for the truthfulness of the church. I read the scriptures and prayed to know of the truthfulness. I received a confirmation of the truth and ever since then i've never had a doubt in my mind. I am a Mormon because i truly believe in the gospel and the happiness it brings in my life. The church gives me a great sense of community and involvement where i can help serve others all the time. I enjoy helping others and being Mormon includes helping others regularly. I am a Mormon because I feel loved by God constantly and strive to show him my love in return.

How I live my faith

Every year i participate in a city wide food bank drive to help the less fortunate in my city. After doing the collections, i also help sort and package it for those is need. I used to be the president of the youth group in my ward where i worked with the girls aged 12-18. In that group I would participate in many service projects for any who was in need. I also home teach other women in my church group to help give them more opportunities to feel the spirit and hear the gospel. I read my scriptures daily to draw myself closer to God and to be more like Jesus.
