Hi I'm Nate Charles

Whether hiking the hills of Utah, skateboarding the streets of St. Thomas, or surfing the waves of Peru, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My dad has taught me to live a spontaneous life. My mom has convinced me to follow my dreams. In following that counsel, I have been able to travel and meet incredible people throughout the world! I enjoy learning new trades, meeting new people, and finding new hobbies; but remember, every great hobby stems from soccer, surfing, and tennis. My best of times come when I am with my family. I am convinced that a family that "wakeboards together, stays together." We also enjoy surfing, skateboarding, and playing backyard soccer. Experiences. Memories. Friendships. The Gospel of Jesus Christ. For me, this is what life is about.

Why I am a Mormon

Its pretty simple. I have felt good being a member of the church. The sense of belonging and purpose that I feel here helps me move forward during the good days and the tough ones.

How I live my faith

Even when it means missing a major English Premier League soccer match, I love meeting for church each Sunday! It seems to get me through the tough times during the week. Living my faith means being kind and courteous to those around me. Living my faith means applying the principles of hope and charity during times of stress, unhappiness, and frustration. I thank the leaders I have had through out the years, for teaching me these principles. They have helped me to become a better person. It's been a process, but an enjoyable one.
