Hi I'm Adam

I'm leaving to serve as a missionary for the LDS church in South Dakota. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to play most any sports, and do many outdoor activities. I have fun riding motorcycles, building and shooting potato cannons, and being with friends and family. Last year I went to BYU for two semesters. I had a fun freshman year with all the new friends that I met. I have been accepted to the Mechanical Engineering department. Now I have been called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in the South Dakota Rapid City Mission. I will be serving as a missionary for approximately two years.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that this Church is true. I know that it is true, because of the spirit that I have felt when I learn, and live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that Christ atoned for me, and that through His atonement, everyone can repent of their sins and be forgiven. I know that through the atonement, everyone can be saved, and return to live with Heavenly Father again. I know that when you pray to our Father in Heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ, you can receive answers to your prayers. I know that I will be able to live with my family forever, if I live righteously, and follow Christ's commandments. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true and living prophet, and that he receives revelation for the Church from God. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, and that it teaches of Christ, and how we can come back to live with him again.

How I live my faith

I attend church every week. I have participated in my ward by fulfilling callings that I have received, such as serving in a Sunday School Presidency, to help the teachers of our Sunday School. I have been called as a Home Teacher, where my teaching companion and I visit families in our ward each month to meet with them, and teach them a gospel message. I have also helped in my ward on occasion, by giving talks and teaching lessons in church. I have helped set up some service projects in my community, and have participated in many others. Now I will be going to serve and share the gospel as a missionary.
