Hi I'm Zach

I live in Utah. I am a web developer. I enjoy rock climbing, hiking and art.

About Me

I love the outdoors. I spend a lot of my free time rock climbing and hiking. I also enjoy art, both creating art and appreciating it. I also enjoy studying history and languages.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I know that what the church teaches is true. I know this because I have put it to the test both by praying and by living it. There is a promise from God to all, that if we ask him in prayer he will tell us whether or not these teachings are true. I did that and received the answer that The Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day Saints is true. Since then I have done my best to live according to the commandments and teachings taught here, through that obedience I have come to appreciate and understand the truthfulness of these things. As Jesus taught us that "by their fruits you shall know them", the fruits that the church has brought into my life are all good.

How I live my faith

I am involved in my community through local groups that allow me to reach out to those in need. I believe that making a difference for good is the best way to show my faith. I attend church every week and am a leader in my ward.

What is faith?

Faith is more than just belief, it requires action. A person with faith acts according to their beliefs even when it becomes difficult to do so. A simple analogy might be that a person believes that tomorrow will come, faith would be preparing for tomorrow. Show more Show less
