Hi I'm Sarah

I'm a non-practicing Anthropologist, a practicing mother of 3, a military wife, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love life, and I love being a wife and mother of three little girls. I graduated with a BA in Anthropology and hope to get my masters and work in museums when my daughters are older. In the meantime I support my husband (who supports me), we have been a lot of places and love to travel. The military has taken him as far as Iraq, and I have traveled all over. We are almost finished with my husbands long journey in becoming a doctor, which keeps us all very busy, but when I have spare time I love to read, create, go to museums and dance with my daughters.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon, I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, because I know that our Heavenly Father lives, that He loves us, that He sent his Son so that we can return to Him. I love that we have a Prophet on the earth and I know Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that the Book of Mormon is the true word of God. I love that our Heavenly Father wants us to have a personal relationship with him and we can through prayer. I love this Church, I love this gospel, and I love being a Mormon because it has brought me happiness, like nothing else on earth can.

How I live my faith

I love to work with the youth of my church and I have the wonderful opportunity to teach them about our faith every week. Every Sunday I get to take my children to church so that they can share with others their wonderful spirits and learn about Christ and loving our fellow men. Christ has been with me through every ordeal in my life, His church, the knowledge it brings, and the people in it, have helped me through the birth of my first daughter while my husband was gone preparing to deploy to Iraq, through every move away from my family, through medical school and the start of residency, and through the everyday problems and blessing of motherhood.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

I believe that we can increase our faith in Christ by following his teachings, most importantly by loving our fellow men. If we are striving to live like Him always, our faith and happiness will grow. Show more Show less
