Hi I'm Tamara Ard

I moved across the United States when I was 12. I want everyone to know the joys of music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised by my Christian grandparents while my mom went to school. When I was 6 my parents got married in the temple. We moved from Pennsylvania to Washington state when I was 12. I went through High School being the only active one in my family. I'm going to college to be a music education major and love music almost as much as I love the Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

There was a time when my whole family was inactive. During that time I become super close with my young women leaders who started to slowly point me into the right direction. I ignored them for a while but then I had a realization one night that maybe what my leaders are telling me is true. I prayed about it and the holy ghost made promise to me that this gospel and the plan he has for me is true. I know that even though my family is not following me, I know what I know. I love this gospel and how it has improved my life.

How I live my faith

When I graduated High School I was not 18 yet so I was asked to teach in primary. I willingly accepted and had a blast sharing my testimony with 6 year olds. When I was still in High School I loved going out and being involved in the service projects and going out and helping in the community. Also, I would love girls camp when all the young women would go off to camp for about a week. All the young women would become so close and such great friends. I am currently serving a full-time mission in the California Fresno Mission!
