Hi I'm Rebekah

I'm from Taylorsville, Utah. I love being healthy and enjoying life. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play soccer, the piano, the cello, the violin, and I love to paint. I am studying Public Health at Brigham Young University. Why? Because I want to be the one that helps people prevent sickness and disease. I am engaged to man that I met on my mission in Brazil. I have learned so much about the eternal plan of salvation. I want nothing more than to have an eternal family with my future spouse.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me in the gospel since I was born, but I still gained a testimony of my own. When I was eight, I decided to be baptized. It's the rightful age that many young children get baptized at. However, I was baptized because I knew that God lived, that he has a plan for us, that the Book of Mormon is true, and that it was translated through Joseph Smith by the power of God. I know now, the exact same things, but I can testify of more. The Savior was sent to this world to atone for our sins, to endure every pain and every trial that each person goes through in life. I know that where we came from, where we are now, and where we will be going after we die. I know that my family is sealed and together forever and that one day I will be reunited with my loved ones again. I know life is hard, but it's a test. Putting our best foot forward with faith in God and making sacred covenants with God will give us the "A" we all so desire on our exam. I am a child of a Heavenly Father who wants only the best for me and that through my testimony I can reach that best and live eternally with him in his kingdom with my family.

How I live my faith

I enjoy serving others. I visit women in my neighborhood every month to share with them my testimony of the gospel. They know that I am really there whenever they need me for some reason. I faithfully attend church every week. I read the scriptures every day. They are extremely special to me and testify that the Savior is real, that he lived among the Jews in Jerusalem, and that he came to the Americas and showed himself as a resurrected being. He taught us to serve and that is what I intend to do and I intend to do it with my faith.

What is faith?

Faith are things hoped for, but which are not seen. It is 100% opposite of fear. Where fear resides, faith does not. Faith is complete belief and trust in something that is greater and better for all human beings. Show more Show less
