Hi I'm Chad

I am the youngest out of six children. I love my family. I am serving in the Utah, Salt Lake City mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Lewiston, ID. Since then I have lived in many places, including Idaho, California, Washington, Utah and even Australia! From all these moves I have met so many unique people and made friends that I will have for the rest of my life. I graduated from high school in 2012. I tried to be involved in as much as possible. I tried as many sports as I could. In all 4 years I participated in football, basketball, tennis, track and cross country. I also sang in the school choir and was a part of leadership programs in the school. I am going to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in the Utah, Salt Lake City Mission. I am very excited to go and i know that is where the Lord needs me to be. I have been looking forward to serving a mission my entire life, and now that the time has finally come it hardly feels real! I can't wait to share the gospel and my testimony to the people in my mission. I love to play the piano. I played piano since I was a child. My favorite part about playing the piano is finding the chords to songs and being able to play and sing the song. Being the youngest child in my family, I spent 6 years with no siblings in the house. Without a brother or a sister to talk to, the piano became my best friend. I express my feelings through the piano and always feel joy afterwards. That is just a little bit about me!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because this church helps me to be the best possible person I can be. I know that the Book of Mormon is a true book, the word of god. Joseph Smith translated the book by the power of God. I know that we have a living prophet on the Earth today. He guides and directs us with revelation and wisdom. I have a testimony of Jesus Christ. I know that he lived, died for our sins and was resurrected. Through this atonement we can repent, be resurrected and return with our Heavenly Father. I know my Heavenly Father loves me, I know my family loves me and I know that my church leaders love me. They lift me up to fulfill my full potential. We are all children of God. This is the restored gospel on the Earth today. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Throughout my youth I have held callings in the church. Callings that required me to be a leader over my peers and also use my talents. I was the choir pianist and enjoyed playing for them. I have always tried to do my best to lead and to be a good example for the youth. I realize that it is a hard time to live in with many temptations and hard things to endure. I hope that I have succeeded in uplifting many people. Another way that I live my faith is through serving people. I have helped in hundreds of service projects organized by the church. These projects helped people who didn't have the physical abilities to take care of their yard, or provide food for their family. I have visited the elderly and helped the poor and needy. I try to live my faith as Christlike as I can possibly be.
