Hi I'm Krista

Sister Missionary • BYU • Sports • I'm a Mormon

About Me

I attend my dream school, Brigham Young University and am studying Athletic Training. I love sports: I did gymnastics for almost 10 years, in high school I participated in volleyball, diving and pole vault. I am a true and blue BYU fan -- go cougars! I also cherish the time I spend with my family. I will be serving in the Utah Salt Lake City South mission starting fall 2016!

Why I am a Mormon

I've grown up a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since I was born and was baptized at the age of 8. Though I believed everything that the church taught was good. I lacked faith and true conversion to lead me to actually live what was being taught. It wasn't until I prayed to know if I was truly a daughter of God that I finally gained a testimony of my divine nature and Heavenly Father's love for me. I learned about the Atonement of Jesus Christ and started to apply it to my own life. I know that Christ is the Savior of the world and that he loves me. He is my rock and the foundation of my testimony. Because of Him my fears/doubts have been replaced with faith, I have received strength in my trials and found peaces in my afflictions. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has given me a sense of purpose and has helped me be the best version of myself.

How I live my faith

I do my best to accept and magnify the Lord's call. I try to follow Samuel's example by having a 'here am I' attitude. I am excited to be serving my Savior and Father in Heaven by devoting 18 months to solely do His work. I strive to be a better servant of the Lord and look for opportunities to do good. Being a missionary is one way I can fulfilling that call.
