Hi I'm Frankie Lapina

I work in the UAV industry. I love to spend time with my family and race motocross. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was fortunate to visit Salt Lake City for work and met missionaries that provided me with an amazing tour of Temple Square and, little did I know at the time, would help to change my life. I'm a convert to the church and was baptised in March 2012. I am a Shadow UAV FSR and I am embedded with a U.S. Army UAV platoon, which takes me around the world! Of course, when I am not spending time with my family, you can find me at the local motocross track practicing when ever i can!

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons that I chose to be a Mormon. The most important reason to me is that in our Heavenly Father's plan of happiness, I can be sealed to my wife for time and all eternity. Life is full of choices and of importance to me was being given the opportunity through my wife and missionaries to be introduced to the Gospel and I had the freedom to choose and felt accountable for my choice to accept the Gospel and serve. Being blessed to be led by a living prophet who can testify of Jesus Christ and teach the Gospel is really important to me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith being the best person that I can be everyday. While I am new to the Church and learning more and more of the Gospel, I feel that helping others however I can has been a part of my life since I was a child. Before I became a member of the Church, helping family members, friends or just someone that needed words of encouragement or a simple helping hand, I felt good inside. Now i also feel that our Heavenly Father is proud of me! I am not perfect, but I do ask for forgiveness and understand that I am being listened to. I try to be an example of just being a good person, live the law of health by following the Word of Wisdom and try to look at everyday things as Christ like as possible.

Who is the Mormon prophet today?

Frankie Lapina
President Thomas S. Monson is the true living prophet on the earth today. I have very much trust in his receiving revelation from the Lord just as other prophets that I am reading about in the scriptures have. Show more Show less
