Hi I'm Hilary

I am a painter, crafter...an artist. I am Mormon.

About Me

I am a newlywed. I just finished going to college, and am hoping/planning to be a stay at home mom someday. I work as a nanny part time and at a German School. I love to play video games, computer games, do artsy things, and play board games. I love browsing Pinterest for fun ideas! I have an adorable cat who is super spoiled! I love to try new restaurants with my friends and see local bands play.

Why I am a Mormon

To start out, my mom is a convert to the church. Growing up my dad fell away from the church and if he was around my mom didnt take me. When they were split up though, she would take me to church. So I have not grown up LDS really. (not compared to most of the people I am around). I moved a lot in my early 20's and in one of those moves, I was having a really hard time. I kept getting laid off, and didnt have any friends or family near me. So I decided to go back to church. Ever since I made that decision my life has been 100% better. I have not been this happy in my entire life. I have now been active (continuously going every Sunday) for the last 4 years. I ended up moving back here to where my family was and met the love of my life. I figured God kept sending me back here for some reason!! I love being Mormon because I have a whole other family to help me and support me. No matter where I go. Even when I wasnt actively going to church, they were always willing to help me. They helped me move, get food, etc... I would not be who I am today without knowing God watches over me and loves me. I know this Church is True. I feel the Spirit every Sunday when I walk into the building.

How I live my faith

I currently have a calling where I work with the women of my ward to organize fun activities for us to do together once a month without hubbys or kids! Basically an awesome Ladies night! I live each day knowing I have tried my hardest for that day. I try to stay involved with our community and our friends. We always have game nights on Friday nights. We laugh all night long. I also visit teach. I have brought dinners to women/men who are in need of help. Ex. My lady I visit teach just had a baby. So I took her dinner. I've helped people move, no matter if they are our faith or not. I try to live by example.
