Hi I'm Kaden Lundeen

I love my family. I love my friends. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like playing all sports (except baseball because I'm terrible at it) and just being active really. I'm done with my freshman year of college, but I have no clue what I want to study and major in. I love to snowboard, longboard, wakeboard, surf, etc. anything that includes a board really!

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to have been born into a family that has the knowledge of this gospel. But I haven't stuck around because that's what my parents have taught me, but because The Spirit of God has touched my heart many times testifying to the truthfulness of this restored gospel. I know God is our loving Heavenly Father, that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer, that this is His church, and that this gospel can bring ANYONE peace and happiness.

How I live my faith

An apostle of the Lord, Elder Holland, has told us to never leave our religion at the door. In many situations in life, it's easy to do this. But I continually try to be a better person, to become more like Jesus Christ which can only happen because of His Atonement and Grace. Faith leads to action. Of course I will pray for those who I see that are less-fortunate than I, but truly my faith will propel me to lend a hand. In many ways, it leads me to turn off the news, get off the couch, and go make an effort to help with things. What I am continually learning is this, "For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it."(Matt 16:25). All in all, the best way I live my faith is by learning to not focus on myself, but all of God's children around me.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Kaden Lundeen
This question, to me, is a pretty big deal! The Lord said himself, in prayer, "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." (John 17:3). To know our Heavenly Father means eternal life. That's huge! And one cannot know the Master without serving Him. This is one of the biggest ways I have come to a greater knowledge of who God is. As I strive to follow His instructions, my mind is enlightened and my will is closer aligned with His. I want everyone to know how to come closer to our Father in Heaven, and so does the Apostle John, by telling us that "hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments."(1John 2:3). As we experiment, and keep His commandments, we will begin to see results. Good feelings will come and great blessings will be given to us. Show more Show less
