Hi I'm T. Tate Thorpe

I'm a musician, creative writer, and composer; and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the Church in Utah and lived there for eighteen years of my life. Currently, I am serving a mission to the Taiwan, Taizhong Mission, Mandarin speaking. I'm now 19 years old and eager for what the Lord has in store for me in Taiwan. I studied one year of college at Snow College in Central Utah before my mission finishing up some generals, no previous major declared. While I was at Snow, I was in the music program there, playing Tuba in the Wind Ensemble. I was as close to a music major as you could get, just without the same responsibilities and requirements. After studying at Snow, I feel that the Lord wants me to stay at Snow in the Music program and begin the new Bachelors program in Music and Media. I plan to study Film Composition and get my Bachelors there. Along the side, I am a creative writer in my freetime and I am very passionate about my work, maybe not quite as much so as much as music. I have been playing the Tuba for about seven years before serving my mission. I feel very strongly that the Lord wants me to do something in music, and I love doing it. So, I say, "Bring it on!"

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in it and it became part of me. I will never be separated from it.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving my mission. As of now, that's pretty faithful. Other than serving with all my heart, might, mind, and strength, I'm good. :)
